Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo are in their element as they take their engagement photos under the sea.
A day after announcing their engagement on social media, Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo just released a set of beautiful photos to celebrate their new milestone as a couple.
On Instagram, the actress shared with her 2.9 million followers some breathtaking underwater photos of her and Philmar.
One of the photographs perfectly captures the couple free diving in the water.
“The love we were promised in fairytales was never something for us to find. It has always been something for us to create,” Andi said in the caption.
In another post, Andi and Philmar are seen meeting each other at the seabed as if they are in their own world, their own element.
“Such breathtaking photos from that perfect afternoon! So happy we got to do this impromptu photo shoot in the ocean,” the actress shared.
Andi Eigenmann announced that she has said “yes” to Philmar's proposal as she flaunts her beautiful engagement ring on Instagram on Sunday night, December 20.
She said, “I never thought about how my engagement would go because quite honestly, I didn't think I'd have one.
“It would've been ok regardless, but it did happen. And it happened the way I wanted it and so much more. Nothing grand. Unprompted, simple, and oh so sincere -- that's us. That's him. That is how I want the rest of my life to be.”
The 30-year-old continued, “I am over the moon, so stoked to be spending it with you, my mahal @chepoxz!”
Andi met pro-surfer Philmar Alipayo sometime in 2018 when the actress attended an awarding ceremony in Siargao.
The couple then became quick friends and casually commented on each other's Instagram posts, where the two got to know each other even more.
In one of her vlogs, Andi shared that Philmar didn't know what she does for a living.
“I think that's what made me more comfortable with Philmar. Just like me only getting to know him, it's the same for him because he didn't know anything about me.”
But the turning point for Andi and Philmar's relationship was when the former accompanied the latter for training in Manila. She recalled how he got along with her first daughter, Ellie.
“Our relationship got stronger. But for me, I really knew that there's a future because of his relationship with Ellie. Because he's my friend, I didn't have to overthink about introducing them.”
The couple welcomed their daughter, Lilo, on July 23, 2019.
In August, they also revealed that they are expecting their second child, a boy, through their YouTube channel.
